Berrynose is assigned to a hunting patrol along with his apprentice Amberpaw, Lilyfrost, and Poppyfrost.

After the camp floods, Bramblestar announces that they're going to need fresh-kill, and assigns Berrynose, Mousewhisker, Blossomfall, and Birchfall to a hunting patrol at dawn.

Berrynose, Blossomfall, Blazepaw, Dewfrost, Hazeltail are on a hunting patrol. Berrynose glares at Dewfrost with hostility.

When Bramblestar announces that Rowanstar's new kits will stay in ThunderClan and that there are no ShadowClan queens to feed them, Berrynose asks if they can feed them until they're weaned, and then send them to ShadowClan. He also asks if Rowanstar even cares about his kits at all.
